FREE ADMISSION AS RUWFC AIM FOR FA CUP FIRST ROUND PROPER

Rotherham United Women are delighted to confirm that admission will be completely free for all supporters for Sunday’s Adobe Women’s FA Cup clash against Spennymoor Town.

RUWFC welcome Spennymoor for a 2pm kick-off - with a place in the First Round Proper at stake.

In the week the club welcomes former Millers captain Ryan Cresswell as our new Chief Operating Officer and his return to football in his hometown, we are opening the gates of Rotherham Hospice Community Stadium to everyone.

Co-owner Scott Thorpe said: “Sunday is a big day for the football club.

“We’re one win away from the First Round Proper of the FA Cup and we want as many people from Rotherham as possible there getting behind the team.

“Ryan coming home is another big moment for the club, and we wanted the supporters to be part of it, so we’re opening the gates.

“Bring the family, bring your mates, bring your grassroots team. If you’ve never watched Rotherham United Women before, come and cheer us on this Sunday.

“We want to see Rotherham get behind the players and help us take another step in the FA Cup.”

The club continues to work with schools, grassroots teams and community organisations across Rotherham as part of its commitment to making women’s football accessible to everyone.
