Experienced coach Adam Rawlings joins the team as Head of Football

Adam Rawlings has been appointed as Rotherham United’s Head of Football.

Adam brings a wealth of experience to the role overseeing football operations and working with the chair Jamie Noble and the committee to develop and progress the club. He most recently served as head coach of Rossington Main Ladies FC

Holding a UEFA B coaching qualification, Adam has coached extensively both in the UK and internationally.

He has formerly managed Doncaster Belles and Sheffield FC and worked with Huddersfield Town Football Club as international coach in China.

Adam said: “It goes without saying that it’s an immense privilege to join this football club, from the first conversation with Jamie our vision for the club aligned and strengthened with every conversation.

“I will do everything I can to provide all our staff and players with the support they need to strive for success at every level of our club. In doing so, hopefully achieving our ambitious aims together.”

Club chair Jamie Noble said: “I’m delighted to bring Adam in board.

“We’ve admired from afar and as soon as he expressed an interest in getting involved in our project, it was a no brainier.

“He will be looking at our training, analysis and squad to see how we can continue to improve things on the field for coaches and players, as well support me off the field with the sponsorship and club development, hopefully for many years to come.”
