THE Millers maintained their unbeaten start to pre-season with a 2-2 draw against Altofts Ladies.

Jessie Broadhurst notched for the second game running, rounding the opposing keeper and slotting home, and skipper Lori-Anne Tart finished from a corner.

Altofts striker Nadine Bates had opened the scoring by finishing from a tight angle following a defensive error and ensured the game at Sheffield Hallam University Sports Park ended level by slotting a late penalty for Jack Bennett’s side.

Meanwhile, the Millers reserves played out a hard-fought game away at Notts County, coming away on the wrong end of a 4-2 scoreline.
