Dates set for Rotherham United Women promotion push as fixtures are revealed

We’re excited to reveal the dates to mark your calendar with as we head into a new era with our sights set on one goal – promotion.

Our fixtures for the upcoming North East Women’s Regional Football League have been locked in.

Sunday September 6 is a red letter day in Millers history as we kick off our first season under new ownership at South Shields, before welcoming everyone to the Rotherham Hospice Community Stadium on Sunday September 13 for our opening home game against Spennymoor Town – your first chance to see the new-look Millers in competitive action on home turf.

Manager Craig Reading said: “It’s exciting to find out the fixtures that map out our route as we set out with a clear goal – winning the league.

“This has been a summer of major investment on and off the pitch to put us in the best possible position to achieve our aim of promotion.

“Everything’s coming together in pre-season training and when the whistle goes for that opening game, we’ll be ready to make everyone in Rotherham proud.”
