Celebrate a new era for Rotherham United Women at our season launch event

Rotherham United Women are inviting everyone to join us to celebrate the start of a new era with a major event at the AESSEAL New York Stadium.

The Rotherham United Women 2026/27 New Era Season Launch will be held at 7.30pm on Tuesday August 18, with guests welcome to arrive from 7.15pm.

This is more than the launch of a new season – it’s all about a new era, a fresh start and a club for the whole community.

It marks a fresh start for Rotherham United Women – with new investment, new ambition and a clear vision to build a football club that the whole town can be part of and proud of.

Our ambitions on the pitch are significant, but the opportunity goes far beyond football.

We want RUWFC to become a genuine community club for Rotherham – working alongside schools, grassroots clubs, colleges, universities, charities, community organisations and businesses across the borough.

We want to create more opportunities for girls to play football, inspire young people, provide visible role models, open up careers and experience within football, support community projects and build strong partnerships across the town.

On the night, you will hear directly from the people leading this new chapter, meet our First Team and Under-23 players and staff, and discover the club’s plans for football, community, education, media and commercial growth.

Most importantly, we will explain how you can get involved and become part of what we are building.

• Whether you are a business, school, grassroots football club, charity, community group, college, university, student, volunteer or supporter, there will be opportunities to work alongside the club through:

• Community and school projects

• Grassroots football partnerships

• Sponsorship and business support

• Volunteering
